Every Friday over at Kelly’s Korner they collect blog posts of singles called “Show us your singles!”.
Being very happily married, I had never heard of this blog before but a very dear friend of mine deserves some kind words and a feature at Kelly’s Korner as she is single and looking for the relationship of her dreams.
I have known my friend Val since junior high school. We were part of the outcast group known as “band geeks”.
Throughout school, Val was a very accomplished musician and went on to earn her Bachelors of Arts in Music Education from Central Connecticut State University. She took a job teaching elementary music education in southeastern Connecticut and during this time earned her Masters of Arts in Elementary Education from Sacred Heart University. After her internship, she has substitute taught in her hometown and hopes to be the successor to her own elementary school music teacher in the fall.
Valerie loves being an Aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She has an amazing spirit and a heart of gold. Over the past year, she accomplished the great feat of releasing 60lbs of weight, and getting to a state of good health. She is a distributor of the weight loss system she uses called Xyngular and is a great promoter of wellness and support to all the friends and family she’s also introduced to the products. She’s a cheerleader, an avid church member, a mentor, an avid Red Sox fan and a great friend.
She celebrates two seasons of the year, winter and baseball. She recently interviewed to be a tour guide at Fenway Park for the summer.
Also an animal lover, she is the owner of a Keeshond/Sheltie mix.
Ok, so there you have it. So I will send out well wishes to my pal Val and all of you reading this that are lucky enough to know her. If it doesn’t work out, don’t get discouraged. Thanks for taking the time to get to know my friend!
